QA Consultants in Brief…

QA Consultants (QAC) is one of the largest Software Quality Assurance and Testing consultancies in North America. Where QA Consultants Came From…

QA Consultants was founded in 1994 and has been managed shortly thereafter, by Alex Rodov.  In the late 90’s, QAC was primarily a sub-consulting firm comprised of a few dozen experienced QA professionals who typically worked under the direction of the big six consulting firms.  By the mid 2000’s, QAC acquired Harry France, formerly of Mercury Interactive, and the nature of engagements changed to those of a direct relationship.   With on staff consultants numbering over 100, and with over 3,100 contractors, it became typical for QAC to co-propose with many of the big six consulting firms.

Where QA Consultants is Today…

With over 250 consultants working onsite and in its OnShore Test Factory in Toronto, and with offices in Toronto, North York, Vancouver and Calgary, QAC is the largest QA focused consultancy in North America.  Its OnSite and OnDemand staffing model delivers exact talent typically in less than 1 business day.  Its Test Factory accommodates major financial services, government and retail clients who have portfolios of applications that need testing at off-shore prices.

Where QA Consultants Plans to go Tomorrow…

While QAC builds on its firm reputation for providing top talent at market leading prices, the company is committed to continue to invest in tools from leading manufacturers such as HP, MicroFocus and IBM Rational and in innovative risk-based methodologies such as QualityPoint, in order to provide high quality service to its clients.

To further help grow its market share, the company plans to lead the marketplace in Managed Testing Services focusing on providing innovative techniques and leveraging offshore best practices to offer its clients an OnShore experience at off shore prices, with shorter delivery times and measurably higher quality applications.  This results in lower risk and better control for their clients.

Their hope is that they can continue to build QAC in Canada and become recognized as a world leader in outsourced testing and continue to expand its facilities and build more job opportunities as the company expands into international markets.
