Branham Group Releases Update on Health Care in Atlantic Canada

This report provides an update on the important happenings in the health care market in the Atlantic Provinces in 2011

- Ottawa, Ontario - Branham Group Inc., a leading global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) analyst and strategic marketing consultancy, recently released a report titled "Atlantic Canada Update," which provides an update on the goings on in the health care sector over the course of 2011 in three key Atlantic Provinces – Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

In 2011, all the Atlantic Provinces continued to implement their health care IT strategies to improve the delivery of health care to their populations. This has been largely evident in their efforts to leverage technology to address some key pain points, including patient wait times, electronic health records, and optimizing processes to make up for shortage of personnel. During the past year, all the Atlantic Provinces have made impressive strides in moving forward with the deployment of the EHR.
